Here’s a closer look at some of the events planned today by ALIPAC’s Willy Gheen and his “Tea Baggers against Amnesty”. Think we were joking about this being a “Spread the Hate” event that will draw a small selection of the xenophobes and bigots amongst us? Think again.

Phoenix Arizona

Todays rally on the grounds of the State Capitol, have two names that jump out and hit you in the face The (Dis)Hon. Arizona Senator, Russell Pearce (Mesa) who we’ll look at here first.

Pearce, good friend of Sheriff Joe Arpaio, is once again pushing legislation in Arizona that would essentially drive all latinos, legal and illegal, from the State. He has been associated and photographed with Neo Nazi leader JT Ready of Mesa and has been discovered pushing their hate filled agenda through the forwarding of the groups emails.. Pearce should really titillate the crowd today in Phoenix and have the nativists wetting their Fruit of the Looms. Pearce has also sought donations from Glenn Spencer’s Americanpatrol.com. Spencer was found to have harbored Shawna Forde in the days before her arrest for the murder of a 9 year old child in nearby Arivaca Arizona.

J.T. Ready is also a member of Chris Simcox’s MCDC

Chris Simcox, candidate to the US Senate, founder of the border vigilante group Minutemen Civil Defense Corp, which also has been associated with Shawna Forde, the Minuteman leader charged with capitol murder in the death of 9 year old Brisenia Flores, and a person prominently listed on the SPLC’s Hatewatch list is the next one. Simcox hopes to unseat Senator John McCain in next years mid term election, a feat about as likely as the second coming of Christ.

All in all, Phoenix should be a grand day for Mexican bashing to be had for all.

Snead Alabama

Snead Alabama, a small burg north of Birmingham on US 278, population of about 1500 is having it’s own litte soiree’ in front of a Pep Jet convenience store on Hwy 278, across from the McDonald’s. The event sponsor, James Snyder, promises to have a variety of speakers, including a “legal alien” Pray tell, is “legal alien” not an oxymoron, with the emphasis on “moron”? Does such a thing exist? I may need to attend this event just to see this extraordinary spectacle.

San Diego California

The San Diego event promises to be (if anyone shows up), the premiere gathering of tea baggers and hate mongers on the west coast. The lineup of speakers promises to be the creme de la creme of the nativist Mexican bashers. They will include:

1. Chelene Nightengale, SOS leader and a homeless Gubernatorial Candidate who is running her campaign out of the back seat of her automobile.

2. Jeff “Bikini Boy” Schwilk, Founder of San Diego Minutemen, a group known for destroying migrant camps and harassing day laborers in San Diego County. Schwilk, pockets flush with the $150,000 dollars from his lawsuit against CalTrans, should be fun to watch, and who knows, he may appear in his women’s wardrobe.

3. and other unkown loony toons such as the founder of an unknown group called Christian Coalition Against Illegal Aliens. Yep, we gotta get God into the mix somehow to justify the hate and intolerance.

Titusville and Sebring Fl

Apparently a couple of small gatherings in Florida today. One in Sebring where a group calling itself Highlands Tea Party movement, has an event. This group had planned their gathering before ever hearing about ALIPAC and their little tea bagger event. Until that is, Willy Gheen forced himself into their plans.

Titusville Florida. A new group that has recently come together to sully the true meaning of a patriot, the Titusville Patriots, will stand on the street corner in Titusville and wave signs and shout slogans. Ho hum!

New York City

One would think that New York City would be one of the bigger of the planned protests. No so. All that is being planned is a street level protest at an intersection near city hall where they will wave their flags and signs in the air encouraging motorist to honk in support. You go New York! Give em a good ol Bronx cheer and let em know they’re number one with the middle digit of your left hand!

Raleigh North Carolina

This should be the one to watch to gauge the effectiveness of Willies organizing efforts. Willy is bringing his circus to town on Bicentennial Mall which is right in front of the Legislative Building on Jones St. Willies rally will commence immediately following a similar rally by Dick Armey’s Freedomworks being held right up the street. Yep! Willies once again trying to hitch his flag to Dick Armey’s star and claim credit where credit isn’t due.

Willy claims that the Raleigh event will be the Flagship event for the over 53 Tea Baggers Against Amnesty across the nation today.

And who can guess who will be the keynote speaker? Why Whining Willy Gheen himself. Gheen promises to deliver a speech to the nation that embodies the current movement to secure America’s borders and Republic. (Ones wonders at what point in this speech to the nation, Willy will implore the audience to donate to his “save the world from Mexican’s campaign)
