ALIPAC fears passage of HR1913 – Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009

Perhaps we should all call our Senators and request that this bill, HR1913 be retitled "The Brisenia Flores Hate Crimes Act" in memory of this beautiful child who was murdered by Minutemen Vigilantes, fueled by the hatred they felt for anything Mexican. It would be an appropriate gesture

On April 30, 2009,  the Senate received, from the House of Representatives, H.R. 1913 Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009 which passed the House on a vote of  249-175 . It was  referred to the Senate Committee on the Judiciary. This bill had 120 co-sponsors in the House.

Willy Gheens Americans for Legal Immigration (ALIPAC) vehemently opposes this bill as evidenced by some of the posters there. To wit:

No link, but sounding a heads up, even worse than Amnesty, is the nonsensical hate crmes bill. I have read some stuff about it, and its pretty nasty, this board will be monitored, the internet, FEINSTEIN wants it to SHUT DOWN DEBATE ON ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION, and they are SERIOUS. Send a hundred people to federal prison for talking about illegal immigrant latrinos, it is comming.

Typical of the idiots that Gheen surrounds himself with, worried that they will be prohibited from making racial slurs and other derogatory remarks about Hispanics and our President.

But as usual, the ALICRAPPERS have it all wrong. NOTHING in the bill prohibits free speech, without regard to how disgusting, inflammatory or false it may be. NONE OF OUR FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS ARE ABRIDGED BY THIS BILL.

Need proof? Read the last paragraph of the bill.

SEC. 8. RULE OF CONSTRUCTION.

Nothing in this Act, or the amendments made by this Act, shall be construed to prohibit any expressive conduct protected from legal prohibition by, or any activities protected by, the Constitution.

It can’t be made any clearer than that.

Will this bill prevent other atrocities from occurring such as the murder of Brisenia Flores and her father by Minuteman child killer Shawna Forde and her top echelon commanders? Not at all. People like Shawna Forde will always have someone to fan the flames, such as the 10,000+ disgusting posts about Mexicans as found on ALIPAC’s website.

Even the site for semi literate racists VDARE is spinning this into something it’s not. It seems as though their site is down right now, except for there appeal for money.

Wonder if they are further scrubbing it to deny any association with the Minutemen and Shawna Forde?

This bill needs to pass in order to prevent further travesties of justice such as occurred in Shenanadoah Pa. when the three “football heroes” who stomped Luis Ramirez to death and received only 6 month in country jail for “Simple Assault

And if ALIPAC and it bunch of Gheen Groupies feel threatened by this, then perhaps it is time to clean up their language and quit blaming their own pathetic existence on Mexican’s and Mexico!

    I find ALIPAC is completly responsible for everything the members post for it is Wee Willie Gheen himself that bans everyone he disagrees with. If Gheen did not agree with the message, the poster would’ve been banned.

    Currently, Gheen is busy using the death of that poor girl to attack all who disagree with him and raise more funds. Gheen is a racist. David Duke is a close friend of his. No wonder he attacked that Jaramillo girl -- that’s a hispanic name!

    This accusation if false. ALIPAC has issued no statement in relation to HR 1913. This propagandist is so eager to try and smear the ALIPAC organization he is citing open source posts on one of ALIPAC’s many websites. The material cited here excludes the clearly posted language above each section.

      Nothing false about this post. (Unless you’ve already scrubbed the post from your site)

      You can post disclaimer’s all over your site, but the fact that the disgusting trash talk with racist overtones is allowed to stand on that site. And the owner, in this case Willy Gheen, has a fundsmental responsibility to monitor the content.

      Otherwise, his failure to do so, gives tacit approval to all the xenophobic, bigoted comments left on that site.
