ALIPAC: Follow the Money

ALIPAC_JackassOnce again, ALIPAC’s William Gheen has pulled off a 12th hour miracle. After a month of begging and whining that if he doesn’t get another $25,000, his hate filled website will be gone. So much to wish for. He’s got his money to maintain his lifestyle, to hell with his naive donors who believe in his bullshit so much, that they will send him their last dime and do without themselves. Fools and their money soon part apparently.

Where does the money go that Willy Gheen collects? Surely it doesn’t take $100.000 a year to keep his ego massaged, or does it.

But does money translate into influence? Change.org makes this observation:

Some good news comes with knowing that pro-immigrant organizations have certainly received millions in grants in the recent past. But receiving large sums is one thing, while allocating expenditure in a way that yields maximum returns is another. It is unclear what influence money will have on the politics and debate surrounding immigration reform at this time.

Allocating expenditures. And how does Willy Gheen allocate his? Let’s take a look:

FOLLOW THE MONEY

What does it cost to spread the hate? In Willy Gheens case, he pays himself about 50% of the donations he recieves or $3500 – $4000 a month.

In contrast, he pays his treasurer, Jane Patterson less than $500 a month to cook the books and send the FEC form letters about his “best efforts” to identify donors. In this age of electronic transactions, PAYPAL, AUTHORIZE.net, postal money orders and bank checks, he knows full well who his donors are, but refuses to disclose them, as mandated by Federal law.

Where does the rest go? According to opensecrets.org;

  1. Phoenix Park Hotel, Washington, DC     $3,165    Hotel Room and Storage Fees
  2. Suites of 800, Des Moines, IA                    $2,872.00       Hotel Room and Conference
  3. Homewood Suites, Washington, DC          $1,368     Hotel Room   + $409.00 cash for car rental taxi and snacks
  4. Hilton Hotels Washington, Dc, Washington, DC     $1,039 Hotel Room + $46 for dry cleaning and internet
  5. Marriot Downtown Des Moines, Des Moines, IA   $1,069.00 Lodging and meals
  6. Clarion Hotels, Raleigh, NC   $582.00 lodging and meals for guest speakers
  7. La Quinta Inn, Phoenix, AZ    $179.00      Room for Ted Hayse  ( I stay at La Quinta frequently for never more than $100 a night
  8. La Quinta Inn, Phoenix, AZ   $333.00   Hotel Room for Gheen ( a little racism here? Double the room for Gheen?

Look like out boy Willy lives large off of the largesse of his naive donors doesn’t it?

And here is an eyeopener. Willy claims in his latest email to his lemmings that:

We do not send out mass exploratory mailings or mass phone banks.

Well folks, as we all know, and this proves, Willy is a damned liar!

According to his FEC reports, he spent more than $18,000 with a firm called Asterisk Dialer and $3000.00 with a firm called CALLFIRE. These are phone banks, auto dialers etc., which disturb you when you’re sitting down for dinner are getting ready for bed.

Yet as a PAC, Gheen has contributed only $2250.00 to various candidates.

One wonders if the lemmings he scams have any idea how much they are contributing to his lifestyle, a lifestyle many of them cannot afford if these tough times.

It will be interesting to see his 2009 final FEC filing. I’m sure it will read like something in the fiction section of Borders Books, where Willy spent over $200 on reading materials.

ALIPAC: Following the Money Trail to Gheen’s Pockets

It’s not often that we agree with Jim Gilchrist, the founder of rabidly anti-immigrant Minuteman Project group. But we have managed to find common ground recently, especially where the White Pride group, ALIPAC (short for Against Latino Immigration Political Action Committee) is concerned.

Here is what Gilchrist had to say about William Gheen, the founder of ALIPAC:

William Gheen, I firmly believe, has no interest whatsoever in encouraging the enforcement of U.S. immigration laws. ALIPAC is a fund raising company whose goal is to raise money off the latest frenzied trend…in this case, the immigration chaos. If there was more money to be made by supporting the pro-illegal alien invasion lobbyists, then he would probably be on that side of the argument…let the country be damned.

Gilchrist is not innocent either given he has supported child-killer Shawna Forde and personally fundraises for himself as well, without any action to show for it. But his attacks on Gheen are not without merit. You see, we have evidence from FEC filings that ALIPAC is simply an excuse for the delusional hate-mongering William Gheen to not go out and get a real job like a real American.

After whining and threatening to finally shut down his illegal activities throughout the month of November if he was not able to raise $25,000, Gheen finally reached his fundraising goal. FEC filings for 2010 show $57,870 in receipt and $56,387 in expenditure. Given ALIPAC is a PAC after all, how much did it spend on helping anti-immigrant candidates? A huge amount totaling $250. Gheen paid himself $19,218, spent $8,894 on a corporate payroll service, $3,007 on his treasurer and $2,800 on his media person. The rest of the expenses include payments for cable television, flights, and hotel rooms. Damn, maybe I should switch sides and swindle our supporters too.

His FEC filings for next year would be quite interesting. It is just too bad that his retired home-making donors are actually naive and stupid enough to actually give their hard-earned money (or rather, our social security taxes) to support Gheen’s extragavant lifetsyle. They would be better off forming their own PAC or donating to enforcement-only candidates directly. I almost feel sorry for them.

Wow.. good job exposing Gheen's spending of ALIPAC donor money!

But I do get some satisfaction knowing that the donors who blindly send him money to "combat illegal immigration" are hateful extremists like himself though. lol =D
