The stress of opposing passage of the DREAM ACT through lies, misinformation and the demonization of kids brought to this country as children has finally gotten the best of the discredited President of ALIPAC, William Gheen.
Now, he seems to be seeing boogeymen behind every bush and the whole worlds out to get him. If that isn’t bad enough, he chooses to libel those of us advocating for passage of the DREAM ACT and Immigration reform, the actions of a loser who is about to see his whole house of cards tumble around him.
Gheen issued a ridiculous and sophomoric press release this morning where made these moronic claims:
Dream Act Amnesty supporters, including the President of Immigration Clearinghouse, have issued a fatwa calling for the murder of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC’s President William Gheen following his appearance on Fox and Friends.
Local police and the FBI have been contacted and reports have been filed concerning these threats and civil rights violations that are coming from Dream Act Amnesty supporters. The Dream Act Amnesty would give legal status, college access, and voting rights to over 2 million illegal aliens.
Not sure what a “fatwa” is as it pertains to the discussion of immigration reform, but coming from Gheen, it could mean anything.
Gheen goes on from the ridiculous to the absurd:
“I try my best in the national media to represent the 59% of Americans found in certified polls who oppose the Dream Act Amnesty,” said William Gheen President of ALIPAC. “Now I am receiving death threats from Dream Act leaders who are also posting my home address, while encouraging grenade attacks on me because I oppose Amnesty.”
Gheen continues with this libelous statement that has little basis in truth, this according to our attorney.
Mr. Porter Corn, the President of Immigration Clearinghouse, posted the following comments beneath the video accompanied by William Gheen’s home address. Corn later removed the comment when ALIPAC notified activists of the threats but screen shots can be seen in the evidence thread provided here.
“Someone should put a grenade up Willy’s teddy bear ass and pull the pin.” — posted at 8:30pm EST Nov. 30, 2010 on Youtube by Borderbandit54 aka Mr. Porter Corn of Laredo Texas / President of Immigration Clearinghouse.
While that suggestion might have some validity, it would have been impossible for me personally to have posted that comment, since at that time, I was in Cd. Juarez having dinner and drinks with some close friends, an event widely chronicled.
But like I said, the comment is good for a chuckle even though it would be impossible to accomplish for several reasons.
- It would be difficult to find anyone even remotely interested in getting close enough to Willy’s stanky fat ass to insert a grenade.
- It would be a waste of a perfectly good hand grenade (and where the hell would you get one)
- You would have a difficult if not impossible time inserting said grenade in Willy’s bulbous ass since his head would be in the way
What it all amounts to is William Gheen, whose ego craves attention and who is losing his battle against the righteous passage of the DREAM ACT, is grasping at straws and resorting to incredulous and ridiculous accusations to get more air time.
“Someone should put a grenade up Willy’s teddy bear ass and pull the pin” is not a death threat and normal people would get a chuckle out of it, as I am sure some will this post.
William Gheen needs to get a life, quit filing false police reports, if indeed he was allowed to. (We can’t find any evidence of them being filed). One would imagine if Gheen took this shit to the authorities, they would tell him to take his “teddy bear ass” on home and grow up.
That would be our advice also. Otherwise, the copyright lawsuit by Righthaven LLC which Gheen has refused to respond to won’t be the only legal actions he has to worry about.
