To put it in a nutshell, it was funny. Gheen was outclassed from the moment he opened his mouth, spouting his anti-hispanic agenda.
Gheen’s position as always was deport them all. If legalization is granted, then the borders disappear and civil war erupts, because (and this was insinuated), we don’t want no dirty Mexicans here.
Dobbs, on the other hand, reiterated his long time position, one which I have heard, that he is for immigration reform, once the borders and ports are secure. Of course, what does he consider “secure”?
He also stated that he has never called for mass deportations of illegals. Hmmm.
Gheen was invited to a future roundtable to include himself, Dobbs, representatives from La Raza, MALDEF,LULAC and others, but answered the invite with more of his babbling nonsense.
Dobbs did say something that all of us should consider. That is, that with immigration reform, none of us, those on the pro side and those anti’s will get everything we desire. It’s called compromise. And as Lou pointed out, the hysteria and hate has to end. Gheen refused to consider this.
As I’ve said before, and it is pertinent now. William Gheen, a jackass braying at anyone who will give him a little attention
