Arizona Governor Jan Brewer - "You know Arizona has been under terrorist attacks, if you will, with all of this illegal immigration that has been taking place on our very porous border", while ignoring the terrorism being directed against her states Hispanic population
Arizona Governor Jan Brewer, getting it from all sides for her signing of SB-1070, Arizona’s racial profiling law, continues pandering to the extremists in her state and around the nation, this time, pulling out the “terror card”.
In a little-noticed Fox News interview Friday, Arizona’s Republican governor, Jan Brewer, described the challenge of illegal immigration in her state as a veritable terrorist bonanza.
Fox News host Megyn Kelly asked Brewer, “Do you think that these folks who are all noticeably outside of your state, are the ones that I just ticked off, including the President, have an appreciation, governor, for what Arizona has been going through with respect to illegal immigration?”
“Obviously not,” Brewer replied. “You know Arizona has been under terrorist attacks, if you will, with all of this illegal immigration that has been taking place on our very porous border. […] The whole issue comes back, that we do not and will not tolerate illegal immigration bringing with it very much so the implications of crime and terrorism into our state.”
You are so right Governor Brewer. Arizona has been under and the scene of many terrorist attacks of late.
Some examples come to mind.
The January 12, 2007 cold blooded murder of Francisco Dominguez Rivera, by Border Patrol Officer Nicholas Corbett Dominguez-Rivera was shot point blank in the chest as he was on his knees surrendering to Corbett. Despite overwhelming forensic evidence and witness testimony pointing to Corbett’s undeniable guilt, he received two mistrials and the prosecution declined to go for a third. Essentially, Corbett was given a pass to go and murder again.
May 30, 2009, Minuteman leader Shawna Forde and two confederates, Jason “Gunny” Bush and Albert Gaxiola stage a midnight home invasion in Arivaca Arizona, killing Raul Flores and his 9 year old daughter, Brisenia. The motive? Looking for drugs and cash to fund their domestic terror and border vigilante cell, Minutemen American Defense. All three currently reside in Pima County Jail under capital murder indictments. Despite the horrendous nature of the crime, interrogating and the shooting a 9 year old child point blank in the face, there are those in Arizona such as Roberta Dills, aka “Laine Lawless” who support and condone Fordes actions, and indeed are trying to justify, rationalize and profit from the murders.
And there have been various instances of Border Patrol officers shooting undocumented immigrants in the back, incidents that have quickly disappeared from the news.
And who can ignore Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio who flagrantly disregards the Constitution and the rights of Hispanics to exist in his quest for the Governors office.
So yes Governor Brewer. Your state is a hotbed of anti American terrorism, brought forth by your own citizens and interlopers from other states who flock to Arizona because of your blatant disregard for the civil and human rights of your states Hispanic population, both legal and illegal.
