Arizona Senate Candidate Jim Deakin shuns ALIPAC demands. William Gheen now attacking the candidate

They don't call me the "Jabbering Jackass" for nothing and don't you forget it America - ALIPAC Prez William Gheen
Arizona Senate candidate Jim Deakin responded to ALIPAC President William Gheen’s demands that he drop out of the primary race and throw his support behind former corrupt Congressman JD Hayworth.
Mr. Deakin’s response:
The campaign for Conservative Tea Party candidate Jim Deakin responded to a letter suggesting he withdraw from the US Senatorial race. The request, in support of the Hayworth campaign comes at a time when Hayworth is losing significant support, the Deakin campaign noted.It is obvious the Hayworth camp is grasping for any help they can muster. But it may be too late and time for Hayworth supporters to realize the real candidate with the best shot to beat the incumbent is Jim Deakin. That being said, those who have supported the incumbent in spite of Hayworth now know there is another choice.
We therefore ask any supporters of either Senatorial opponents to carefully consider their options” the campaign added.
The letter in question took veiled liberties and distortions and is leaning heavily on scare tactics and overblown endorsements.
“We feel this letter is a last-minute, desperate grasp by Mr. Gheen and ALIPAC to distort my candidacy and legitimacy. Stating that “American’s” ask Jim Deakin not to do something is ludicrous. Jim Deakin has plenty of Americans who will support and stand with him as well. Maybe we should state that “Americans Back Deakin for US Senate” the campaign stated.
The Deakin camp has been asked numerous times by the Hayworth camp to withdraw from the race and swing support to Hayworth.“I think all candidates should stand up for themselves and work hard towards being elected rather than rely on someone else, or placing blame if you don’t succeed. Let’s let the democratic process work” stated Jim Deakin.
Whether facing adversity or in light of such an annoying and distorted letter, Deakin vows never to throw support towards a candidate, or in this case two candidates who are so very different from his principles and beliefs. “I would not consider withdrawing, much less suggest to anyone to support Hayworth’s campaign” Deakin stated. “In fact, given that the past political actions of Hayworth, as well as those of the incumbent are not acceptable to me, they shouldn’t be acceptable to voters either – therefore I would never encourage my supporters to vote for either one of them”.
If the Hayworth campaign or any of its supporters like Mr. Gheen had even the slightest idea of what the Tea Party is about they would never attempt to sway a withdraw by Deakin. The Tea Party is based on belief of the Constitution but more importantly the Party supports the right and liberty of the US citizen to step up, be heard and to make a difference.
Deakin also wrote a personal response to Willy Gheen which included in part;
Because Mr. Gheen, for whatever his reasons had Chosen NOT to Stand with Arizona in the month of June for our SB1070 rallies and instead BOYCOTTED Arizona, I see him as a charlatan. ………
Bill Gheen is the patriot for profit director of Americans For Legal Immigration Political Action Committee of ALIPAC. His group likes to follow other immigration activist movements, cheerlead and then take credit for whatever attention they receive. He turns it all into one huge donation machine, sheering the good hearted and the gullible of their hard earned donations and convincing them he has influence in Congressional and Senate races as a legitimate player in forming immigration policy. “I think I read Gheen’s actual quote “If there wasn’t any money in immigration, I (meaning Gheen) wouldn’t be here.” …..
With that, “Whining” Willy Gheen went into attack mode with this statement;
“When I read Deakin’s response and how negative and nasty it was, and how many false accusations were contained in it, I realized that his message was amazingly similar to the press releases we’ve seen from John McCain’s campaign over the last few months,” said William Gheen. “We politely asked Deakin to honorably step aside, knowing that we could determine if he was a spoiler, or a legitimate candidate based on how he responded to that voter concern. Deakin’s response tells us he is McCain’s spoiler and he knows it. We will treat him as such from this point forward.”
Deakin’s issues are all designed to mirror J.D. Hayworth’s campaign, yet Deakin attacks Hayworth, instead of McCain and responds with the same false negativity the overly defensive McCain camp uses. Deakin is not a legitimate candidate, he’s a spoiler for McCain and he knows it.
Willy says Deakins response was “negative and nasty”? Does anyone see that in Deakins response? Only in Willy’s eyes now that he has been smacked down, marginalized and ignored once again.
ALIPAC President William Gheen takes it in the nuts again!
Whining Willy, has another fan it seems. Jim Kelly a columnist for the Tucson Citizen, see through Willy’s scam, much the same as we do. Here is the lead off on an article he wrote about this situation.
William Gheen, the patriot for profit who is the head of ALIPAC, an anti-immigration political action committee, issued a press release yesterday calling on Jim Deakin to drop out of the Senate Race and endorse JD Hayworth. After Mr Deakin responded in the press to Mr Gheen’s demand, the fundraising huckster responded in part with his own vitriol.
How cool is that. I would take exception with Mr Kelly using the word “Patriot” to describe Gheen and his bunch though. The anti immigrant hate lobby has corrupted that word enough already, spreading their hatred of Hispanics, immigrants and our President under the guise of “patriotism”.
Mr Kelly also responded in kind to Gheen’s comment on his column THE CHOLLA JUMPS, where Gheen calls Mr Kelly “clueless.
Here’s Mr. Kelly’s response to William Gheen.
You are a funny guy Bill. Your number one problem in all of this is you have no sense of humor. Campaigning should be fun. My personal opinion of you is that you are a bomb throwing, mudslinging hack whose existence in a room dirties up the other people in it. I have to take a shower after having been in your presence. You prey on the good hearted and gullible, you use fear and intimidation to get your way. You are the Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson of the anti-immigration movement. You are a highjacker of causes to enrich your organization, which means your pockets. The sooner you leave this debate the quicker we’ll have solutions. So please slime your way out the door and go foment revolution in Saudi Arabia or Iran. Go teach Mexico how to defeat the drug cartels. Anything, just go away.
Bravo Mr Kelly!
