CNN is running a story this morning titled Rogue Minutemen leader held in fatal home invasion
Was Shawna Forde “rogue” or part of something bigger?
The article is a compilation of what we already know about the case with a couple of additions from, who else?
Chuck Stonex! (This guy is turning into as big a media whore as Shawna. Wonder what he’s trying to hide?
Stonex is quoted as stating:
Still, he said he noticed during an operation monitoring the border in Arizona with her in 2008 that Forde was well funded for the leader of a tiny group on the fringe of the Minutemen movement. “She always had a lot of cash,” he said.
That’s a question most of us who have been following the antics of Forde since the first of the year have been asking ourselves?
On her website, now removed, she stated that she would begin charging “a small fee” to escort groups of reporters. It also stated a small fee for a “background check” would be charged for prospective members.
Yet her group numbered in the teens. 14 to be exact. So where did the funds come from to fund her travels?
The mainstream Minutemen perhaps?
After all. Forde was a nobody. An uneducated, small time thief, sometime prostitute, in short, a nobody!
Yet she had the funds to travel between Washington state and Arizona and California. Attend the camps and protest with the other border vigilantes. And best of all, as she brags about in her videos, she had access to assault weapons and other arms.
Further in the article, Stonex once again mouths off, this time raising the question of his involvement in the murders, if not to the fact, then “after the fact!
Stonex said he last saw Forde and Bush right after the shootout at the Flores home. Stonex helped patch a bullet wound to Bush’s calf. “They said they were jumped by border bandits,” he said.
Which begs the question as to why isn’t Stonex being investigated for conspiracy and complicity “after the fact”.
As much as he and Forde discussed issues. The time they spent together terrorizing the border and playing GI Joey’s, are we supposed to believe that he is totally innocent of his involvement?
There’s a silver lining in all of this though. Folks along the border, on both sides can breathe easy for awhile without having to worry about being beaten or killed by the various self styled domestic terrorists playing in the desert.
Now, he said, he and other Minutemen have been forced to cancel border patrol operations and wait for the scrutiny to die down.
Here’s a NEWS FLASH for you Stonex! The scrutiny ain’t going to die down. Not now nor in the forseeable future. You can take that to the bank
