Lou Dobbs with wife Debby Seguro has made inflammatory speculative claims that he was targeted by pro-migrant activists. In truth it appears a stray bullet fell from the sky without damage. But Dobbs, never one to let an opportunity pass, used the incident to smear his most vocal critics.
Something went “plink” and fell to the ground. (Lou Dobbs on words)Turns out it was a stray bullet of an unknown caliber, velocity spent, that gently struck the attic siding of the home of CNN’s Lou Dobbs. Dobb’s reports it to the New Jersey State Police, who take the report and the bullet for evidence and life goes on.
Three weeks later, Dobb’s, who saved his TV career by channeling the anger of America’s redundant middle-aged white men against immigrants and more importantly, Hispanic immigrants, saw the opportunity to use this incident to his benefit, and hurl slanderous insults and innuendo towards those who don’t agree with his lies and rhetoric.
“My wife has now been, and I have been, shot at, our driver,” Dobbs said. “My house has been shot and hit. An investigation continues. I’ve had bodyguards now and you know what, I’m not in the mood to put up with little fools like Geraldo Rivera.”

The Dobbs estate in the elitist enclave of rural Sussex County New Jersey
Dobb’s lives in an Wantage, Sussex County New Jersey, in a secure multi million dollar estate. It’s hunting season in New Jersey, as it is in much of the country. A stray bullet, in a county where the farmers have exemptions from acquiring hunting permits, or registering their guns when used on their own property. A Mr. Magoo out squirrel hunting with his AR-15 squirrel gun perhaps, but nothing to suggest an attempt on Lou Dobb’s life for his views on immigration or his hateful rhetoric.
This didn’t stop ALIPAC’s head buffoon William Gheen from seizing the moment and trying to make the story go , in his words “Viral”. As usual, Gheen mostly failed in his efforts except for one blurb Fox news gave him. Salve for the ego for the moment.

A satelite long shot of the multi-million dollar Dobbs estate, further disproving Dobb's theory of a "magic bullet" meant for him or his wife
But according to a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police, Sussex barracks, “There is nothing to suggest this was an attempt on Mr Dobb’s life.” “The bullet came from a long gun, not a revolver or a shotgun, and it is hunting season in Sussex County.”
CNN and Lou Dobbs, declined comment. Debbie Segura Dobbs also declined comment referring all questions to her husband. Class act that lady. Not wanting to get involved in her husbands fantasy.
The only thing linking this to anything immigration related is Dobbs and Gheen’s interpretation of the events. Dobb’s claims numerous threatening calls, although most celebrities phone numbers are private and unlisted, but the police can check the phone records to see if they in fact exist, if they have a mind to.
The police have not yet found anything to back up Dobbs’ and Gheen’s claim of links to immigration.
My gut tells me that Dobb’s and his worshiper William Gheen are grasping at straws to further their agenda. Time will tell, as we await the outcome of the police investigation, if there is to be one of substance. Again, my gut tells me that the NJSP are blowing this off for what it is.
For the moment, Dobb’s accusations, are merely inflammatory speculation, with no basis in fact other than a bullet that fell from the heavens.
