It has long been rumored that there was a “fourth man” involved in the murders of Brisenia and Raul Flores, by Minuteman Shawna Forde, Albert Gaxiola and Jason “Gunny” Bush. Supporters of Forde have insinuated that this “fourth man” was responsible. That person has been identified.

Oin Glenn Oakstar, is the man. He was arrested on the morning of the killings on an unrelated weapons charge. For consideration on that charge, Oakstar has agreed to tell all.

On Monday, during a hearing, Pima County sheriff’s Detective Juan Carlos Navarro was called to the stand by prosecutors, who had to show they have enough evidence to support the death penalty.

Authorities have said all along that several witnesses will testify Forde orchestrated the Flores home invasion to fund her border-watch group. Navarro revealed Monday that Oin Glenn Oakstar is one of those witnesses.

New details of the murders emerged as Detective Navarro testified:

“Flores’ wife, Gina Gonzalez, told detectives Brisenia was asleep on the couch when a man and a woman came to her door, identified themselves as law enforcement officers and ordered her husband to open up. They said they were looking for fugitives and Flores would be “blasted” if he didn’t open the door. The man, who was about 6 feet, 5 inches tall and 300 pounds, shot Flores when he asked them for their badges and why they had tape on their guns, Navarro said.

Gonzalez [Raul Flores' wife] quoted the man as saying, “Don’t take this personally, but this is for you,” before shooting Flores six times, Navarro said.

Gonzalez pretended to be dead when she herself was shot three times, Navarro said.
She heard her daughter asking the man why he’d shot her parents and pleading for her life, Navarro said. Brisenia was shot twice in the head. Gonzalez also said the heavyset woman came back inside the house after leaving, Navarro said.

When the woman noticed Gonzalez was still alive, she ordered the tall man to “finish her off,” Navarro said.
By the time the man came back inside the house, Gonzalez had armed herself and managed to shoot the man in the leg.

Prosecutors have identified the tall man as Bush and the woman as Forde. Authorities have said Gonzalez also saw Gaxiola in her house that night.”

The Green Valley News gave further insight into the hearing, in which presiding Judge Joh Leonardo ruled that Forde, Gaxiola and Bush, are eligible to receive the death penalty

Bush and Gaxiola were in court for the hearing. Once again, the cowardly Forde declined to attend citing her desire to stay “out of the limelight”.

The hearing was the first held in Pima County under the Arizona Supreme Court’s ruling in Chronis v. Steinle, which allows a defendant an open hearing on a judge’s ruling on the probable cause for aggravating factors in potential death penalty case
