The May Day rallies that drew an estimated 500,000 people to the streets of America demonstrating for immigration reform and protesting against the draconian SB-1070 that would turn Arizona into a police, went down peacefully yesterday with very few exceptions.
Fox News has been reporting this fact all day today. ALIPAC’s William Gheen, hugely marginalized after his debacle on April 17th where he made bogus claims against Senator Lindsey Graham, couldn’t sit by and be exposed once again, for the lying jackass he’s shown himself to be.
Ya’ll remember Gheens hysterical press release he sent out on April 28, just two days prior to the May Day rallies? Here’s an excerpt;
Americans for Legal Immigration PAC is releasing a video clip today that shows an illegal alien supporter in Arizona claiming that shovels and axes will be used against Americans just prior to the riot, where police officers and American citizens were assaulted by the mob protesting SB 1070.
Just like Gheen, the video was total bullshit. And Gheen knows it.
But Gheen, intent on fueling the bigotry and hatred he expects from his followers, just this moment sent out this press release, that in his words,
A copy of this e-mail is being sent to 30,000 American press sources as we have been told some major networks like FOX News are falsely reporting that the May 1 marches were all peaceful without arrests.
In his dreams, 30,000 press sources. After the drubbing he took by Lou Dobbs, Ed Shultz and others over his Lindsey Graham comments, Gheen is a joke and pariah in the eyes of the main stream media.
What’s Gheen’s version of events? Let’s look.
First, Gheen mentions a riot that broke out in Santa Cruz California. According to the report, A large group of protesters demonstrating at a May Day rally for worker’s and immigrant rights downtown broke off into a riot vandalizing about a dozen businesses around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, police said. . Mmmmm, 10:30 pm? The May Day rallies were held during the daytime hours, morning and early afternoon. And who was arrested for all of this vandalism? Let me see.
According to the story;
One person, 24-year-old Jimi Haynes, a transient from Fresno County, was arrested for felony vandalism for damaging a window. Haynes is also wanted on a parole violation, Clark said. Police are searching for others responsible for the damage. Protesters cleared the downtown area around midnight…….
Haynes was observed traveling with this group and breaking windows at the Dell Williams Jewelry store. Haynes broke two large display windows in the front of the store. The witnesses followed him and called police. Haynes was located by arriving Watsonville PD officers who detained Haynes, Clark said.
Haynes is on parole out of Fresno County for burglary. He has been in Santa Cruz for the past several weeks where he has established an arrest history, Clark said. Haynes admitted to participating in the rally after receiving a flyer at a local anarchist café. Haynes was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.
A parolee with an White Anglo Saxon Protestant name was the only one arrested, and he received the information from a local anarchist cafe?
STRIKE ONE Gheen. You’re not even close on this one.
Gheens second attempt to cast the immense and peaceful rallies held a bit of truth to it.
He calls attention to the incident in the San Francisco Bay area, where protesters allegedly attacked a group of peaceful, minding their own business border vigilantes, who call themselves Minutemen. According to the article, Three people were attacked and at least two others were arrested. Now we all know the Minutemen were standing on the corner, out of every ones way, waving their little flags and singing “kumbaya”. None of them would think to taunt the marchers with obscenities, obscene gestures and other stupid remarks, as Gheens butt buddy, Jeff Schwilk and his group did in San Diego.
Which brings us to Gheens next ridiculous assertion.
Gheen claims that The San Diego Minutemen report that the assailants are seen on bikes in this video of illegals marching with Mexican flags, communist and anarchist banners. Now of course, he would be referring to his “friend” Jeff “Bikini Boy” Schwilk, which the San Diego papers reported was out on the route of the march with some of his numbnut followers, hurling obscenities, flipping the bird and in general, just being Schwilky. Ya’ll know Jeff is the one who keeps losing lawsuits in court because of his crass and anti social behavior, judgments he refuses to pay. And in between his appearances in court, he can be found destroying migrant camps in the country and terrorizing Hispanic women and day laborers?
STRIKE TWO FOR GHEEEN.
The last two have nothing to do with the May Day rallies. Well, maybe one of them does, but there was no violence associated with the incident. Only a display of civil disobedience.
Gheen refers to Rep. Luis Gutierrez arrest in Washington DC in front of the White House, when he and other protesters peacefully refused police orders to keep moving. It was planned and it was peaceful.
The final incident Gheen uses to call Fox News and others liars is the report of 17 migrants being detained in Arizona in the case of the deputy who was allegedly shot by drug smugglers.
As FOX NEWS reported, this had absolutely nothing to do with the May Day protests and is an entirely separate story.
Not what Gheen wants to hear, so he is dispatching the truth according to Willy to all who have need of something to wipe their ass on.
We was wondering what ALIPAC’s jabbering jackass would come up with, and this time, we didn’t have to wait until Monday morning to find out.
Oops! Wait a minute folks. I missed this. It appears we will have our usual Monday morning chuckle at Gheens stupidity.
