Live from the jail – Shawna Forde whines about solitary

There is, was, an interesting conversation of someone who is allegedly Minuteman killer Shawna Forde, whining about her treatment in Pima County jail.

If it is her, she certainly has a foul mouth, so you’ve been warned, if you choose to read the transcript or listen to the actual conversation.

The audio file and transcript, originally posted on the website Justice for Shawna Forde, has since been removed, leading us to wonder whether it was phony.

Here’s the transcript;

I’m going crazy!  [I’ve had a] bad couple of days.

You know what?  I’m being tortured!

It sucks!  Are you kidding me?  Sometimes it’s hour by hour I have to pull myself through.

It breaks you down, you become more sensitive, and when your only contact with other human beings is fuckin’ bitch COs…[corrections officers]

It’s like have somebody come up and poke you in the middle of the forehead and tell me how long you can stand that until it starts driving you fuckin’ crazy…because that’s what it feels like to me.

It’s like, no human contact, except through the trap, or when I get to see my attorney.

And then you get a CO that has an attitude or a power trip, you know, that just fucks with you, you know, because they can, and…it’s HARD!

You know, I think a lot of people say, “Oh, I’d love to have that time to read a book, to have some me time,” but it’s like, yeah, but I don’t think you’re meaning for going on 9 months!

All the books here…they’re all about murder and crime!  I wrote something about that.  And people wonder why inmates leave jail enraged and then become worse criminals than when they came in…

I have some pretty good theories on that.  When you isolate someone for long periods of time, and then their only choice of reading material is books about murder and crime, I mean, it’s kind of like an inundation, you know!

And then society can’t figure out why people leave jail so angry and then re-offend.  But then, maybe after you go through a prolonged period, you get this rage of being mistreated, and you like fall through the cracks here.

And I think what amazes me too, is that in prison, it’s like a Holiday Inn!

(In jail) you’re innocent until you’re proven guilty; in prison, you’ve already been condemned and judged, but in prison, they have more rights than what they have in jail!

The thing is, I worked on a campaign for sheriff, I was the Chief of Police’s campaign manager, I have a lot of friends who are cops, I used to be 100% on their side, and I used to feel real judgmental towards criminals, and the system, and this and that, but I think now that actually coming and living on this side of it, it’s like wow!  What an eye-opener for me!

I’ve been on status now [Administrative Segregation, usually solitary) for 7 months, and I didn’t do anything to deserve that status, [she obeyed all the jail rules] and second, they have me on Isolation status, and that means that I am not allowed to talk to another human being!  And this is going on 9 months now.  So, if they want to keep me on status (Administrative Segregation), they need to lift the ISO (Isolation)!  It is torture, and it’s a bunch of bullshit, and you know I’m not gonna sit here and be a willing victim!

Just like, every day, you know, it’s like a struggle, every, every day, a constant struggle, just trying to figure out what…

If you could just imagine…lock yourself in a bathroom, take all your stuff out of that bathroom, you have nothing, and stay in there for 23 ½ hours, and only allow yourself 30 minutes to come out, and that’s the time you have to choose to use the phone or take a shower, and then you have to go back to your bathroom, shut the door and lock it.  Do that for just 2 days, and then you might get a taste of what I’m going through, going on 9 months.

I’ve already accepted the fact that I’m going to be here for 10 months.  I mean, honestly, I’ve already accepted that, OK?  I know, but I have to; if I don’t, it will just make me even more crazy, if I don’t surrender to the fact that this is what it’s gonna be.  I mean, hey, if something else happens, then it’s a blessing, but if nothing else happens, then it is what it is!

It’s nice that I can call you—it really helps, to have a conversation with somebody.  And I really, really, appreciate it probably more than you ever know!

    Oh that was Shawna alright , I know her voice well even over the phone. I can tell you she never once was a campaign manager for the chief of police here in Everett or anywhere else for that matter. If she is being so mistreated in jail like is posted on justice for Shawna then how come she didn’t bother to go into detail on the phone? If I was being mistreated in jail and had the opportunity to say it publicly I would be telling all and loudly. All she is doing is spouting off her mouth with nothing of substance in her conversation. Typical Shawna that’s for sure. No if Shawna was being “tortured ” she would have been screaming about it on the phone, after all we all know she loves the attention.

      Also, if she was being held incommunicado, these alleged calls wouldn't have been made.

      More on this later, but here attorney's have come out publicly saying that the Laine Lawless website DOES NOT speak for Forde, nor will any of the crap being published there, be used at trial. They went on to further state that Forde DOES NOT APPROVE nor does she PARTICIPATE in that website.

        Well someone is telling lies then because according to Dills site Shawna supports it and supports it very well. We just recently found that Roberta Dill putting things up on that site that are not true is an illegal act. She has committed copyright laws and slander and both my mother and I are now going to start a class act law suit. You better hold on to your shorts Roberta because your going to loose them very soon. And as far as Shawna goes ? Well she is just buring herself deeper and deeper. So Shawna you just keep doing what your doing and you will put yourself in the grave !

          You're probably wasting your time. You couldn't recover anything from Dills Social Security check, that's protected. Perhaps if you won, you could acquire some of her nasty old used sex toys, but who the hell would want those.

          Seriously though, Libel is the printed word, Slander is the spoken word, a bit of a difference. And what copyright laws have been broken? Copyright infringement is very difficult to prove. There is no class action here as only you and your mother have been harmed. Cause of action would be you and your mother together, or you each filing separately. But hell, why go to the bother. Lawless is probably judgment proof.

    Well I checked on the campaign issue with Shawna. Thanks to my friend Scott North from the Everett Herald we found this to be not so. Actually what happened was she was going to campaign for a man who was running for Sheriff. But that did not happen because he decided to take other routes in his career. So Shawna never campaing for anyone and again it has been proven she is a liar. The only one who believes her crap is Roberta Dill and John Lyon who by the way has never even met Shawna..It sure is strange how someone can make judgements about someone or someones family without ever meeting them. Do people really do that ? I mean how dumbass can that be ? Pretty damn dumb if you ask me but then I guess it takes all kinds !

    Merrill is right, that was Shawna’s voice on that tape. She sounded her usual self and she did not sound as though she was being tortured in any way. She did not sound subdued, hurt nor did she shed any tears or scream her innocence. She sounded as if she was somewhat bored with the situation or had a ho-hum attitude. Sorry Shawna, too many people know you and I have heard you when you were down and you soundedc nothing like a real depression.

    As I was saying before I had to step away—Shawna has always been able to swear with the best of them. I have to admit though she was careful about it here at our house because it is not looked upon with approval. But one time when I went to a happy hour at a bar in Everett with 3 of my daughters, her and another sister went at it loudly and clearly making sure everyone heard them. It was done for my benefit--if you know what I mean.

    Well that was Shawna. I listened to that recording when it first come out. And I do recognize the voice as hers. Here is what gets me she say’s ” but I think now that actually coming and living on this side of it, it’s like wow! What an eye-opener for me! ”

    Isn’t this statement kind of a admission of guilt ? Now that I live on the other side of the law ? To me that is saying I have accepted it for what it is because she knows she is guilty. I’m sorry but if I was innocent ? I would be screaming my innocence and not saying I have accepted it because I now live on that side of the law.And then she say’s ” The thing is, I worked on a campaign for sheriff, I was the Chief of Police’s campaign manager, ” I believe this is a lie and would not be hard to check on either, I will do that and let everyone know what I find. Because I do not recall her ever saying anything about campaigning for anyone except for G.W.Bush and I don’t think she really did that either to any real extent.
