Chris Simcox and penis substitute

Maricopa County Superior Court Commissioner J. Justice McQuire continued “in full force”, the protective order granted to the estranged wife of Minuteman Civil Defense Corps founder and President Chris Simcox.

“The court finds that conflicting testimony has been presented on every allegation and the court must make a determination of credibility. Defendant has a prior conviction involving dishonesty,” wrote Commissioner McQuire.

“The court finds by a preponderance of the evidence that there is reasonable cause to believe that the defendant has committed an act of domestic violence within the last year,” he said. “The court further finds that good cause exists to continue the order of protection in this case.”

The order bars Simcox from having any contact with his wife of 4 years, Alena and his two kids, Zoe and Chloe. It also orders him to surrender all of his firearms to the Scottsdale Police Department, and order he has ignored in the past.

As we reported earlier, during one of his drunken rants, Simcox ordered his wife to take his gun and shoot him, and when she refused, he then allegedly threatened to kill her and the kids and any cops that responded. This was one of the reasons for the protective order.

But instead of taking service of the order like a man, Simcox chose to go into hiding. HE stayed on the run for more than a month, eluding bounty hunters employed by his wife and taunting them with text messages, until finally accepting service of the order of protection almost a month later.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
