CIR leader Barbara Coe, with a look of unbridled lust, looks to be putting the moves on Sheriff Joe at the Phoenix Rising Rally. "Birds of a Feather" and all, but a nasty thought to say the least
They advertised it as “Taking America Back”, from whom, no one knows, but the highly touted anti immigrant rally in Phoenix, called “Phoenix Rising”, apparently was a dud.
The organizers of Phoenix Rising jumped the gun when they proclaimed;
This promises to be the largest rally in American history demanding that the states and federal government secure our borders and crack down on illegal immigration.
Attendance was estimated to be between 700-1000 attendees, which fell way short of the thousands the organizers had expected. Some came armed, others just came.
It was only a week before when opponents of Arizona’s new racial profiling law known as SB-1070 rallied more than 100,000 from across the US to show their opposition to the law and support for comprehensive immigration reform.
Nativist Barbera Coe, leader of the Huntington Beach-based California Coalition for Immigration Reform, greeted the crowd at the rally with “Good afternoon fellow victims.’’ She urged them to call their representatives to let them know they support the law and to oppose what she called amnesty.
“It is now our responsibility to stand up and be counted,’’ she said to cheers. “This is our turning point. The traitors have underestimated the power of Americans. No mas. … God forbid it should come to this but if it should come to this, lock and load.”
Yeah, Lock and Load! The rallying call of the domestic terrorists who stalk our borders looking for Mexican to harass and in some cases murder. Lock and Load! The rallying cry of Minuteman child killer Shawna Forde and her group of Minutemen.
There was no word about the other speakers who were supposed to attend. Those included former Congressman Tom Tancredo, who recently promoted the idea of literacy tests for Hispanic voters, Senator Russell Pearce, friend to Neo Nazis and White Nationalists throughout Arizona and the one responsible for pushing this law through, on behalf of Kris Korbach, a lawyer for the hate group FAIR.
Joe Loya and his daughter Monica Ramos, wife of convicted felon and former Border Patrol officer Ignacio Ramos. Loya was responsible for having his son in laws case put before the court of public opinion. Ramos and his buddy Jose Compean shot a suspected illegal in the back several years ago, then lied and tried to cover their actions by destroying evidence, which they were convicted and sentenced to Federal Prison.
Maricopa County Joe “Payoso” Arpaio, of course showed up. Never one to miss a photo op and fresh off a raid on a Burlington Coat Factory where his goon squad snared 3 illegals doing the unimaginable, working, and disrupting the days business for the company.
Concerning the low turnout, Joe took the pragmatic approach while mugging for the cameras.
“Every person counts,” he said. “Even if there’s one, that’s important.
ALIPAC’s Willy Gheen wasn’t there of course. As we reported earlier, he was involved in a cat fight with organizer Dan Amato over his trying to highjack the event and claiming it as his own, as he has in the past.
It’s wishful thinking, but I wish Gheen had been there and taken the credit as he usually does. I imagine Amato and company have the same thoughts. For this event could be billed as but another of William Gheen’s monumental failures.
