From Border Militia Leader to Convicted Murderer: Shawna Forde’s Misguided Aspirations

Cross Posted from LONG ISLAND WINS by PATRICK YOUNG ESQ. I have never supported the death penalty, and I still don’t. The fact that Shawna Forde is, by my reading of the evidence, guilty of planning and ordering the executions of Brisenia and Raul Flores and the attempted killing of Brisenia’s mother, Gina Gonzalez, does not change that opinion. But I will try to be objective in looking at why the jury sentenced her to death. Putting myself in the place of a juror and seeing the evidence presented to the jury, it would be difficult to resist giving Forde the maximum penalty allowed by law. Killing Brisenia and Raul was not incidental to the home invasion in Arivaca, Arizona. It MORE

Laine Lawless files frivolous complaint with Arizona bar against Forde attorney!

If the is true, then this bitch needs to be in a cell next to her heroine Minuteman child killer Shawna Forde. From Kim Smith at Arizona Daily Star: Next month’s trial of Shawna Forde may be in jeopardy because of a State Bar complaint filed against one of her attorneys, but it’s unclear who was behind its filing. On Monday, defense attorney Eric Larsen informed Judge John Leonardo that one of Forde’s strong-est supporters, Laine Lawless, had filed a complaint against him with the State Bar of Arizona and says she filed it for Forde. Although Larsen has given the Bar an affidavit signed by Forde stating she did not authorize Lawless to file the complaint, the ethics advisory MORE

Lawyers for Minuteman Shawna Forde file motions to exclude "prejudicial evidence"

Eric Larsen, attorney for Minuteman and accused child killer Shawna Forde was back in court last week with another handful of motions, this time, trying to preclude the statements of two Colorado Minutemen and FBI informants from being used in her January 2011 trial. The still unidentified Minutemen told the FBI that Forde met with them in Colorado a couple of months prior to the murders in Arivaca to discuss her plans and need for the proceeds to fund her border vigilante Minuteman group. Forde tried to recruit the two to help her, but fortunately for them, they refused and contacted authorities. Larsen, in filing his motion, said the men’s statements should be precluded for the following reasons:

Arizona pro reform activist and videographer Dennis Gilmans new YouTube video hammers everyone on the hypocrisy of our political leaders over SB 1070 and the plight of the 12 million undocumented in this country. Gilman also contrasts the hysteria over the killing of Arizona rancher Rob Krentz to the relative silence of politicians and the media over the 2009 slayings of 9 yo Brisenia Flores and her father Raul in a home invasion robbery gone bad in Arivaca by Minutewoman Shawna Forde and cohorts Jason Bush and Alberto Gaxiola. Krentz’s death was exploited by nativists to pass SB 1070, whereas the Flores murders were never commented upon by that same tribe. For good reason. Many of them knew Forde, and MORE
