Arizona Senate candidate Jim Deakin responded to ALIPAC President William Gheen’s demands that he drop out of the primary race and throw his support behind former corrupt Congressman JD Hayworth. Mr. Deakin’s response: The campaign for Conservative Tea Party candidate Jim Deakin responded to a letter suggesting he withdraw from the US Senatorial race. The request, in support of the Hayworth campaign comes at a time when Hayworth is losing significant support, the Deakin campaign noted. During Hayworth’s previous term in the House of Representative, he benefited to the tune of $100,000.00 from from convicted swindler and lobbyist Jack Abramoff.
