In what would be another crushing and demoralizing defeat for discredited ALIPAC President and newly self appointed “Director” of the nonexistent Tea Parties Against Amnesty, a new Rasmussen poll that shows JD Hayworth has little chance of wresting the Republican nomination for Senator from incumbent John McCain. TPM Reports: A new Rasmussen poll of Arizona has yet more bad news for former Rep. J.D. Hayworth, who is challenging Sen. John McCain in the Republican primary. On the slim chance that Hayworth were to win the August 24 primary, he would in fact be the weaker GOP nominee — and even trail the Democrat, former Tucson Councilman Rodney Glassman.

Arizona Senate candidate Jim Deakin responded to ALIPAC President William Gheen’s demands that he drop out of the primary race and throw his support behind former corrupt Congressman JD Hayworth. Mr. Deakin’s response: The campaign for Conservative Tea Party candidate Jim Deakin responded to a letter suggesting he withdraw from the US Senatorial race. The request, in support of the Hayworth campaign comes at a time when Hayworth is losing significant support, the Deakin campaign noted. With much pompous buffoonery, William Gheen of ALIPAC came out with endorsements for the ultimate corrupt politician, JD Hayworth of Arizona. During Hayworth’s previous term in the House of Representative, he benefited to the tune of $100,000.00 from from convicted swindler and lobbyist Jack Abramoff. We won’t go in to what he did to screw the native American tribes who were his clients at this time.
