Arivaca shooting suspect had dispute with victim One of the suspects in a home invasion that left Raul Flores Jr. and his daughter dead had a dispute with Flores over illegal drugs, Flores’ wife said the day after the killings. The woman, who was shot in the leg during the incident, told officers that she knew Albert Robert Gaxiola from around town and that he “had gotten into a dispute with her husband the previous year due to the fact that (Gaxiola) was reportedly storing marijuana on their property,” according to the report. More suspects named in murder of Brisenia Flores

Shawna Forde, 41, Albert Robert Gaxiola, 42, and Jason Eugene Bush, 34, have been indicted by a Pima County Arizona on two counts each of first-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder, as well as burglary, aggravated assault and robbery charges in the home invasion and murder of Raul and Bresenia Flores, and the attempted murder of the mother, Gina Marie Gonzalez. The arraignment is scheduled for June 29 in Pima County Superior Court, Tucson Arizona. Rick Unklesbay, chief trial counsel for the Pima County Attorney’s Office, said prosecutors have until 60 days after the arraignment to announce if they intend to seek the death penalty. Other than that, the DA declined further comment on the case.

Relief swept over Arivaca on Friday as the Pima County Sheriff’s Office announced three arrests in the brutal murders of a man and his 9-year-old daughter. But along with it came despair at news that one of the suspects is a well-liked resident. Albert Robert Gaxiola, described by friends and neighbors as “one of the nicest guys you’d ever meet,” was arrested in Tucson on Friday afternoon in connection with the May 30 murders of Raul Flores Jr. and his daughter Brisenia.
