The Border Patrol agents who murdered of 19 year old US Citizen Carlos La Madrid, 15-year-old Sergio Adrian Hernandez Guereca, Ramses Barron Torres, 17, of Nogales Sonora, on the Arizona border are still walking free today, but two other weren’t so lucky. A federal grand jury in Tucson returned a 5-count indictment today against Dario Castillo, 23, and Ramon Zuniga, 29, both of Maricopa, Ariz., for Conspiracy to Deprive Persons of Civil Rights and Civil Rights Deprivation under Color of Law. Castillo was also charged with Tampering with a Witness. The defendants will be summoned to appear for arraignment in federal court. It’s not often that Jim Gilchrist and I agree because of our philosophical differences, but this time we are both thinking along the same lines. The refusal of authorities to release any information concerning the suspects allegedly in custody for the murder (not assassination Jim) of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry have many of us believing it was possibly American citizens responsible, despite the fact that the nativists prefer to blame everything on undocumented immigrants. You see folks, when an arrest is made in a high profile case such as this, authorities are quick to trot out the suspects for the “perp walk”. Our friends at BORDERLAND BEAT has posted videos taken by witnesses on the Santa Fe Bridge, linking El Paso and Cd Juarez, that shows the Border Patrol Agent firing wildly in the direction of three people crossing back into Mexico. The BP goon is seen holding one of the men on the ground by the hair, while firing indiscriminately in the direction of the other two, who are in Mexico. One shot finds it mark in the eye of 15 year old Sergio Adrian Hernandez Güereca, who is instantly killed. Witnesses have stated Hernandez, was not involved in the alleged rock throwing incident. Last week on the morning of Thursday, May 20, border patrol agents on duty near the south Texas brush country town of La Pryor encountered a pickup truck stopped on the side of the road due to mechanical problems.
