Mexico's "Amicus Curiae" brief accepted by Judge Susan Bolton

Mexico gets to have a say in one of the lawsuits challenging Arizona’s immigration enforcement law. A US District Court Judge Susan Bolton on Thursday granted Mexico’s request to be allowed to file a legal brief supporting the challenges to Arizona’s draconian and controversial SB-1070. What this means is the Court will consider the amicus curiae brief Mexico submitted previously. Attorneys for the Republic of Mexico says they want to defend the rights of it’s citizens, both legal and undocumented, and that the law would lead to racial profiling and hinder trade and tourism.
