Anybody ever wondered what type of people make up our opposition in the debate for immigration reform and the human and civil rights of the undocumented? Reading the oppositions web sites and silly little press releases gives you a good idea. And the level of intelligence shown in the emails and contacts I receive on this site, puts the educational level somewhere between 4th and 6th grade. Fortunately, although the number for this site is readily available, I don’t get that many calls, thank God. I bring this up for several reasons.

From THE FEATHERED BASTARD William Gheen, Nativist Hate monger, Kicks Me Off His Facebook Friends List: Boo-Hoo-Hoo I’ll say one thing about nativist nudniks like William Gheen of ALIPAC, they can sure dish it out when it comes to bashing Mexicans on their little blogs, but boy do they scurry like schoolyard cowards when you call them out. I’m on Facebook, and I believe I became his “friend” a while back, probably just as a way to keep an eye on the North Carolina anti-immigration lobbyist, who makes his money bagging on Hispanics every chance he gets. The more extreme his rhetoric, the more moolah he raises. That’s the way it works.
The anti-immigrant movement is an incestuous, backstabbing clan. So when such connections are made between various nativist organizations and Forde, they are hardly eye-popping. Neither are the reports of Forde’s contact with white supremacist organizations. If you were to do a Venn diagram of nativist and racist circles, there would be considerable overlap.
