The US Department of Justice announced the indictment of these three today on federal hate crimes charges for the kicking death of Luis Ramirez in 2008. A jury in Shenandoah found the three guilty of "simple assault" with a resulting sentence of less than a year in county prison. For once, justice will be served DOJ has indicted Piekarsky and Donchak for Hate Crime Murder of Luis Ramirez in Shenandoah Pennsylvania last year. Also charged were members of the Shenandoah Police Department on charges of covering up the crime and corruption.

As many may remember, Kuis Ramirez was kicked in the head by these two and died of his injuries. At trial, the assailants were convicted of simple assault.
