Apparently, J.T. Ready’s little soiree in the desert was a success, in his mind at least, and in ours, since he was unsuccessful in killing any Mexicans as seemed to be his intent. He was hampered though by the media entourage that accompanied him as his small group attacked and secured an abandoned building within sight of Interstate 8, hardly the securing of the border he had in mind. Stephen Lemmons of Phoenix New Times and acclaimed videographer Dennis Gilman were along for the ride, and Lemmon’s account of the weekend is so damned funny, we’ll let him tell it. It’s not every day that a well-known neo-Nazi offers to take you to a place called “the slaughterhouse.”
