The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is out with their new Year in Hate and Extremism 2010 review and it’s an eyeopener for most although not so much for those of us that follow these nativist hate groups. It ought to make William Gheen, President of the nativist extremist group Americans for Legal Immigration (ALIPAC) proud that he made the top of the list for groups in North Carolina alongside his buddies from NC FIRE. Smackdown for Arizona Senator Russell Pearce - 9th Circuit bars friend of Neo-Nazis from SB-1070 arguments

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected arguments by nativist Sen. Russell Pearce, R-Mesa, that he has a “unique perspective” on SB 1070. Pearce, through his attorneys, said he wants a chance to convince the appellate judges that all provisions of the law are legal. The accused ringleader and triggerman in the May 30 double murder in Arivaca are linked to white supremacist groups, police and family members said. Accused ringleader Shawna Forde told her family in recent months that she had begun recruiting members of the Aryan Nations and that she planned to begin robbing drug-cartel leaders, her brother Merrill Metzger said Monday in a telephone interview from Redding, Calif. “She was talking about starting a revolution against the United States government,” he said.
