Sitting here reading the latest but of trite propaganda from Willy Gheen and ALIPAC, I see irony in what Stephen Lemmons of Phoenix New Times wrote about the decision of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals striking down a decidedly racist provision of Prop 200, that sought to make proving one’s citizenship a prerequisite for voter registration. The unelected governor of Arizona, Jan Brewer made the normal statement of outrage, which we expect every time their attempts to usurp Federal law fails. “The decision is an outrage,” Governor Jan Brewer and Secretary of State Ken Bennett announced in a joint statement, “and a slap in the face to all Arizonans who care about the integrity of their elections.” The statement MORE
On November 2nd, Arizona citizens could get what they deserve, or, they could make the right choice
Creepy, incoherent and frighteningly stupid is how FB describes the Republican candidate for Governor of Arizona. If you need an incentive to cast a ballot, here it is Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard may not be the perfect gubernatorial candidate, but compared to his Republican rival Governor Jan Brewer, he’s a freakin’ Nobel Prize laureate. It’s a real sin that the political climate of this state is so focused on bashing Mexicans. Otherwise, Brewer wouldn’t have a popsicle’s chance in July, and Goddard would be the anointed one. Christ, the people of Arizona deserve better than this half baked retard leading their state into ruin and economic oblivion. Thanks to Dennis Gilman for the video and Stephen Lemmons for the MORE
Goods news for Arizona is bad news for Brewer, Pearce, McCain, Babeu and other fearmongers!

E.J Montini in the Arizona Republic has some startling revelations for the purveyors of fear in Arizona. Beheadings are way down in Arizona. (In fact, they never rose above zero.) Even worse for Arizona’s most prominent elected officials, the FBI just released statistics showing that violent crime in Arizona fell nearly 14 percent in 2009, the largest drop of any state except South Dakota. A breakdown of some of the crime numbers paints an even uglier picture for Brewer, McCain and other fearmongering pols.
After mumbling and stumbling and walking away from reporters questions about her claims of beheadings in Arizona by drug cartels, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer has admitted, that maybe, she was wrong. “That was an error, if I said that,” the appointed Governor told The Associated Press and others on Friday. “I misspoke, but you know, let me be clear, I am concerned about the border region because it continues to be reported in Mexico that there’s a lot of violence going on and we don’t want that going into Arizona.
In a debate last night with Democratic challenger Terry Goddard, Gov. Jan Brewer was once again asked about the “beheadings” she claims have been happening in Arizona. It’s interesting her reaction. She knows she’s been caught in one of many of her lies and her facial expression, and what happens afterwards, is especially telling. She wants to “move forward”! Stephen Lemmons of the Phoenix New Times puts it in his special perspective.
