McCain takes Arizona Senate Primary - The Winners

In the end, it wasn’t even close, with incumbent Senator John McCain trouncing opponents JD Hayworth, the corrupt former Congressman and late night infomercial huckster and newcomer Jim Deakin. Senator John McCain       281347       56% JD Hayworth                           160858      32% Jim Deakins                              58705       12% Overall, about what we expected. The good folks in Arizona soundly rejected all the rancor and hate filled smears directed at the incumbent Senator and elected the best man for the job.

Stunning defeat in the works for JD Hayworth in Arizona Senate race?

We’re getting some astonishing straw poll results in from the Arizona races. In a day which saw heavy rain and a light turnout, Arizona voters may well put ALIPAC backed JD Hayworth firmly in his place.

ALIPAC – Never let a good moment pass to scam money from donors

Can you folks believe this?  Two weeks after ALIPAC and it’s discredited President Gheen succeeded in wheedling more than $30,000.00 from it’s naive donors, he’s got his hand out for more. Gheen and ALIPAC are in the middle of what will ultimately be another failure for him and his organization, trying to convince elderly voters to cast their vote for McCains corrupt challenger, JD Hayworth in Tuesdays primary election. To do this, he is using his usual lies, twisted logic and fearmongering in an attempt to convince voters that a vote for McCain will result in the destruction of Arizona, and America. But after whining and begging to reach his goal of more than $30,000.00 recently, that according to him, MORE

KKK Leader David Duke, ALIPAC’s William Gheen & JD Hayworth gang up on Az Senate Candidate Jim Deakin

Two days before the primary elections in Arizona where JD Hayworth is badly trailing incumbent Senator John McCain, there’s another new player in the game. Former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke. As reported in Pueblo Politics this morning, Jim Deakin is asking whether his opponent JD Hayworth is cozying up to the former Klan leader in a desperate effort to gain a few more points in the polls. As expected, the Hayworth camp vehemently denies this with Hayworth spokesman Mark Sanders saying the idea that the campaign is colluding in any way with Duke is preposterous. “I have no idea what delusional thoughts are going through Deakin’s head,” he said, adding Hayworth denounces the organization and doesn’t want Duke’s MORE

In Arizona's August 24 primary, Sen John McCain holds comfortable 20 point lead

This is the last weekend before the August 24th Senate primary in Arizona which could return veteran Senator John McCain to the US Senate, for what could well be his final term. McCain is 77. Does John McCain deserve another term in the Senate? Considering his opposition, former Congressman JD Hayworth, who was tied to the Jack Abramoff Indian Casino scandal, and Jim Deakins, a political newcomer and Tea Party favorite, we think he does. Despite his political pandering to the anti immigrant crowd, John McCain is the lesser of three evils. At least he has always shown that he can put partisan politics aside and reach across the aisle to work with his opposition. ALIPAC, and it’s discredited President, MORE

Rasmussen Poll: Hayworth Would Lose To Dem In AZ-SEN

In what would be another crushing and demoralizing defeat for discredited ALIPAC President and newly self appointed “Director” of the nonexistent Tea Parties Against Amnesty, a new Rasmussen poll that shows JD Hayworth has little chance of wresting the Republican nomination for Senator from incumbent John McCain. TPM Reports: A new Rasmussen poll of Arizona has yet more bad news for former Rep. J.D. Hayworth, who is challenging Sen. John McCain in the Republican primary. On the slim chance that Hayworth were to win the August 24 primary, he would in fact be the weaker GOP nominee — and even trail the Democrat, former Tucson Councilman Rodney Glassman.

ALIPAC continues to back losing candidate JD Hayworth with lies and misinformation

Discredited ALIPAC President William Gheen today continued to spread misinformation and lies in support of corrupt former Rep. JD Hayworth, who is badly trailing Senator John McCain for the Republican Senate nomination in Arizona. Today, Gheen sent out another of his sophomoric press releases asking his handful of followers to make a video on YOUTUBE go viral. Gheen still has his panties in a wad after the third candidate, Jim Deakin, summarily rejected Gheen’s demand he withdraw from the race. Here is Gheen’s release, edited to make it more truthful and correct.

Arizona Senate Candidate Jim Deakin shuns ALIPAC demands. William Gheen now attacking the candidate

Arizona Senate candidate Jim Deakin responded to ALIPAC President William Gheen’s demands that he drop out of the primary race and throw his support behind former corrupt Congressman JD Hayworth. Mr. Deakin’s response: The campaign for Conservative Tea Party candidate Jim Deakin responded to a letter suggesting he withdraw from the US Senatorial race. The request, in support of the Hayworth campaign comes at a time when Hayworth is losing significant support, the Deakin campaign noted. It is obvious the Hayworth camp is grasping for any help they can muster. But it may be too late and time for Hayworth supporters to realize the real candidate with the best shot to beat the incumbent is Jim Deakin. That being said, MORE

ALIPAC President William Gheen, makes overt threats against Arizona Senate Candidate

Once again, discredited ALIPAC President William Gheen is in the news. This time, trying to force political newcomer Jim Deakin, running against Arizona Senator John McCain and former Congressman JD Hayworth, whose time in Congress was marred by his association with the corruption of lobbyist Jack Abramoff, out of the race for McCain’s Senate seat. This morning, Willy released another of his sophomoric press releases calling on Deakin to step down so Gheen’s candidate, the corrupt JD Hayworth might have a chance of besting McCain in the upcoming primaries. “Unfortunately, Mr. Deakin’s continued candidacy has a strong chance of handing the election to John McCain, yet he has almost no significant chance of winning the race according to numerous polls MORE

Minuteman Chris Simcox allegedly threatens to kill family, cops

Phoenix New Times is reporting former minuteman leader and ex, self-described “senior advisor” for J.D. Hayworth’s U.S. Senate campaign Chris Simcox allegedly threatened to kill his wife and family according to a petition for an order of protection filed by his estranged spouse Alena Simcox. A Maricopa County court commissioner granted the petition April 16, and ordered the 49 year-old Simcox to remain 200 yards away from Alena, their two children, and Alena’s child from a previous relationship. The order prohibits Simcox from possessing, receiving, or purchasing firearms or ammunition. He was told to “surrender same” to the Scottsdale police within 24 hours of being served. Simcox, a close friend and confidant of ALIPAC President William Gheen seems to have MORE
