Sheriff Joe "payoso" Arpaio

Sheriff Joe 'splaining why he needs the big gun to go after those illegal terrorists. Is he trying to one up his buddy JT Ready?

Fresh off the campaign trail for nativist attorney Kris Korbach, where another of Sheriff Joe’s phony bomb threats occurred, the badge carrying assklown of Maricopa County announced his 16th terror assault on the counties Hispanic population, this time with a twist.

Following the lead of his buddy and fellow nutcase JT Ready, Arpaio is targeting the Vekol Valley in the Gila Bend area and he’s bringing out the “big guns”.

According to Phoenix New Times:

Videographer Dennis Gilman’s releases his latest  on JT Ready and his  neo-Nazi boy scout patrol of the Vekol Valley. Starring in this excellent video is  Governor Jan Brewer, state Senator Russell Pearce, and Sheriff Joe Arpaio which proves that all the hateful rhetoric and lies that this unholy trinity is pushing is nothing more than political pandering which enables these freakoids.

Sheriff Arpaio and his pink punk underwear

Maricopa Sheriff Joe Arpaio seen this week selecting his pink punk underwear in the event the rumored indictment against him for corruption and other high crimes and misdemeanors is handed down in the future

It seems to have been a bad week for Maricopa County’s geriatric gendarme. He, who thinks he is above the law has been smacked down on several fronts.

The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors has been after Arpaio for some time now to produce financial records pertaining to the possible abuse of Jail Enhancement Fund money. That fund is supplied by a voter-approved sales tax, and the cash is supposed to go for jail construction and related expenses, not for the sheriff’s slush funds to pay for his terrorizing Maricopas Hispanic population.

Friday, Superior Court Judge Richard E. Gordon slapped down Arpaio’s attempt to dodge the County Boards calling Arpaio to a hearing to explain why he was holding back docs on the MCSO’s financial matters

From The Phoenix New Times and Stephen Lemmons:

But the Supes suspect Arpaio’s office has been misdirecting the money for bogus investigations of public officials, and doing anti-immigrant sweeps of Hispanic neighborhoods.

So they demanded to see Joe’s books. Joe and his flunkies ignored them.

The Supes ordered Arpaio and his chief financial officer Loretta Barkell to attend a contempt proceeding. Joe’s law dogs asked for the court to intervene, arguing, essentially, that the Supes have been pickin’ on ol’ Joe, that the order violated the Arizona Constitution’s separation of powers and a bunch of other baloney.

Gordon wasn’t buying. He ruled that,

CIR leader Barbara Coe, with a look of unbridled lust on her face, looks to be putting the moves on Sheriff Joe at the Phoenix Rising Rally. "Birds of a Feather" and all, but a nasty thought to say the least

CIR leader Barbara Coe, with a look of unbridled lust, looks to be putting the moves on Sheriff Joe at the Phoenix Rising Rally. "Birds of a Feather" and all, but a nasty thought to say the least

They advertised it as “Taking America Back”, from whom, no one knows, but the highly touted anti immigrant rally in Phoenix, called “Phoenix Rising”, apparently was a dud.

The organizers of Phoenix Rising jumped the gun when they proclaimed;

This promises to be the largest rally in American history demanding that the states and federal government secure our borders and crack down on illegal immigration.

Attendance was estimated to be between 700-1000 attendees, which fell way short of the thousands the organizers had expected. Some came armed, others just came.

It was only a week before when opponents of Arizona’s new racial profiling law known as SB-1070 rallied more than 100,000 from across the US to show their opposition to the law and support for comprehensive immigration reform.

“]Dream Walkers in Arizona with Joe Arpaio

FEATHERED BASTARD

They entered the belly of the beast, and they hugged it out with El Diablo. Literally.

That’s right, the four immigrant students many know simply as the Dream Walkers today ascended the 19th Floor of the Wells Fargo Tower, where Sheriff Joe Arpaio has his executive offices, and met with Maricopa County’s grumpy grandpa of a gendarme.

Three of the students are undocumented, one has legal residence, and there was also present a fifth comrade in arms.

Although Arpaio has made no bones in the past about arresting suspected illegal immigrants and locking them up, he declined to take the human bait offered by the students, famous for trekking by foot from their homes in Miami, Florida to Washington, D.C. earlier this year and confronting ICE agents and sheriffs all along the way.

Crowds estimated at 50,000 marched fromSteele Indian School Park to the State Capitol Saturday morning to protest Arizonas new anti immigrant law known as SB-1070.

The crowd of protesters stretched more than a half mile through the city streets as the throng of people banged drums, chanted slogans asking President Barack Obama to intervene and waved American flags as they made their way toward downtown Phoenix. Organizers were scattered throughout the protesters picking up trash and providing water to the marchers as the day got progressively hotter.

The rally was peaceful as are the majority of rallies pushing for immigration reform. People attending this event came from as far away as New York and Texas and as close as California.

Speakers at the Capitol, included AFL-CIO president Richard Trumka, spoke to the crowd about the climate of fear Arizona’s immigration-enforcement law has created.

“Immigrants are not the cause of Americas problems and (Senate Bill) 1070 is not the answer,” Trumka said.
