Border Vigilante Shawna Forde arrested for murder of 9 year old girl, father

Three people, including the leader of a border watch group and an officer within that group, were arrested in connection with a May 30 home invasion that left a father and his daughter dead and the mother wounded, authorities said. One of those arrested, Shawna Forde, is the leader of Minutemen American Defense, a group out of Washington state that conducts operations along the U.S.-Mexican border in Arizona. The group is not related to either the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps founded by Chris Simcox, or the Minuteman Project founded by Jim Gilchrist. Authorities also arrested Jason Eugene Bush, 34, who serves as operations director for the Washington group, and Albert Robert Gaxiola, 42, in connection with the shooting deaths of MORE

The story of the alleged attack on self appointed National Director of MAD, Shawna Forde as reported by Scott North in the Everett Herald has continued to raise suspicions across the blogosphere, confirming my first suspicions that this whole thing was a bad publicity stunt. I don’t need to bring you up to speed on it. Read the other articles and comments on this site for that. In addition to the commenters here, unlikely allies have joined in the debate and cast their doubts. National Director of nativist hate group Minutemen American Defense, "alleges" assault

On Monday, Shawna Forde, 41, national director of Minutemen American Defense, a nativist group that rails against illegal immigrants, called police to report that a trio of intruders had just ambushed her in her kitchen. She allegedly was beaten, sexually assaulted and slashed on the back of her neck with a knife, she told officers. This occurred while her husband was recovering in the hospital from gunshot wounds received on December 22, when someone burst into their home and began shooting. Of course, the suspect in that case looks hispanic.
