Death Row Inmate Jason Eugene Bush will die in Arizona!

Washington State prosecutors appear satisfied with the sentence given to convicted double murderer Jason Eugene Bush and won’t try to extradite him to Washington state to stand trial for two more killings attributed to him. Bush, convicted triggerman in the home invasion murders of 9 year old Brisenia Flores and her father Raul, was also charged in Washington with the 1997 stabbing death of a homeless man in Wenatchee Washington and the shooting death of an 18-year-old white supremacist from East Wenatchee in July and September of 2007. After a jury earlier could not decide on the appropriate punishment for Albert Gaxiola for the murder of 9 year old Brisenia Flores in May of 2009, Judge John S. Leonardo, during a hearing Friday, granted a prosecution motion withdrawing the death notice during a hearing Friday morning. Deputy County Attorney Rick Unklesbay told Leonardo that the Homicide Panel in his office has reviewed all the pros and cons of continuing to seek the death penalty for Brisenias murder, and with the full understanding and support of victim and mother Gina Gonzalez, the prosecution was taking the death penalty off the table. This time, it is a motion demanding full transactional and testimonial immunity for anything she might say as a witness. Generally, people don’t ask for immunity unless they have something to hide. In a motion filed Tuesday,Defense attorney Richard Parrish said that there is such “overwhelming evidence” that Jason Bush was the triggerman in the murders of 9 year old Brisenia Flores and her father Raul,that he and co-counsel Chris Kimminau have no plans to offer any defense in his upcoming trial. They fear they “would entirely lose their credibility before the jury,” which would hamper them when they try to persuade not to impose the death penalty. Update on Arivaca Arizona Minuteman Murders - Albert Gaxiola attorney look to excuse his participation in the murders

July 12 saw a status conference for Minuteman Shawna Forde and her cohorts, charged in the home invasion murder of 9 year old Brisenia Flores and her father, Raul on May 30,2009. The day belonged to Gaxiola as his attorneys filed a slew of motions citing mitigating circumstances. Jack Lansdale and Steven West also asked Judge John Leonardo to try Gaxiola separately from co-defendants Shawna Forde and Jason Bush. They claim there is no evidence Gaxiola was in the Flores house when they were shot and it would be unfair to try him at the same time as Bush, the shooter and Forde. Minuteman child killer Shawna Forde is the victim of a vast left wing federal-government conspiracy to crush the Minuteman and vigilante militia movement, Laine Lawless said on a Web radio show Monday night. Laine Lawless, founder of justiceforshawnaforde.com, tries to justify on a show called Truth Brigade Radio, why she came to defend Forde, whom she first met May 30, the day of the murders. Lawless used the OKC bombings, which she claims was perpetrated by the government as reasoning for Forde’s arrest, that being to break the back of the Minutmen and militia movements. In doing so, she linked the two as one.
