Tea Party Convention Showdown

POLITICO REPORTS that three former allies of the National Tea Party Convention are planning a guerilla press conference near the convention hall Saturday afternoon to highlight what they contend are the organizers’ efforts to hijack the tea party movement. The three men, Anthony Shreeve, Robert Kilmarx and Mark Herr, are Tennessee tea party activists who were involved in the early stages of planning the convention and say they resigned in protest after disputes with lead convention organizers Judson and Sherry Phillips, who contend that the ex-allies were banned from the group planning the event for incivility or indiscretion. The disputes have since gone public and turned ugly. At their press conference – which they plan to hold in the same MORE

Tea Baggers show true colors in Nashville

The first Tea Baggers convention is in full swing in Nashville Tennessee this weekend and the participants to this $549.00 weekend event are being treated to the full monty from the treasonous extremists. Tancredo opens Tea Party Convention in style The tea baggers kicked it off in style with the anti-immigrant, anti hispanic rants of former Representative Tom Tancredo, who apparently pines for the days of the Jim Crow Laws Tancredo — best known for his vehement opposition to illegal immigration, if not immigration an immigrants generally — stuck to the subject he really knows. Or at least thinks he knows. The former congressman complained that “people who could not even spell the word ‘vote’, or say it in English, MORE

Tea Baggers show their core racist beliefs

TPMMuckraker is reporting that TeaParty.org, a Houston-based group founded by Dale Robertson, yesterday sent an email fund-raising solicitation, titled, “Obama Pimping Obama-Care, One Last Time!” To make their point, a photo showing the president as a stereotypical African-American pimp, sporting a pencil-thin mustache and a zebra-striped, fur-brimmed fedora, complete with a feather, accompanied the solicitation.

Avlon: Extremism in danger of acceptance

This excellent article by John Avlon, exposes the tactics of William Gheen and ALIPAC as well as others of the lunatic fringe. NEW YORK (CNN) — We are witnessing a wingnut war break out in American politics, organized on the Internet and fought out in airwaves and in town halls, wingnuts firing their shots from the outer reaches and strafing the common sense center. Look beyond the sober skeptics and the principled opposition to President Obama, and you’ll find an ugly fringe festival cultivating the wounds left by the 2008 campaign and pouring gasoline on the embers of the culture wars. As the two parties become more ideologically polarized, the fringe is now blurring with the base while the moderate MORE

ALIPAC Tea Baggers are funny pathetic people

Tea Baggers gone wild! ALIPAC racists and Xenophobes, an Uncle Tom, a Coconut, Orly Taitz Birthers, all came together on November 14, 2009, heeding the call of ALIPAC’s head buffoon, William Gheen. All dozen or so of them. Our friend Veronica (VronRN2) captures it all in this just released video. Naui seems to be having fun with these morons and societal derelicts. What a man. He takes all the stupid insults and laughs them off which seems to infuriate the moonbats that much more. Ya’ll can enjoy it also. We need a good laugh after the revelations concerning Shawna Forde and Brisenia Flores in the next post. Thanks for sharing Veronica.

Our friend Naui, an acclaimed videographer, provided some excellent coverage of William Gheen’s assemblage of birthers, and other assorted whack jobs. With Naui’s permission, we’re sharing some of them with you. Mexican (Naui) vs minutemen racist Teabaggers . Pasadena , Ca. November 14 , 2009

TPAA - Another abysmal failure for ALIPAC & William Gheen

Saturday’s “Tea Parties Against Amnesty” was another abysmal failure for ALIPAC’s egomaniacal leader William Gheen, as we predicted it would be. Gheen had promised more than 5000 attendees in more than 53 cities nationwide, and it simply didn’t happen. Gheen, and his buddies at NUMBERSUSA, rationalize this as being because they had only a month to organize. In truth, it shows that a super majority of Americans find these groups boorish and want a real solution to the problem of immigration in our country. The nativist, hate tinged solution that ALIPAC, CIS, FAIR and others propose is not what American’s desire. Saturday had some interesting moments though. IN MINNESOTA, ALIPAC GETS PUNKED In Minnesota, the word was that a speaker at MORE

Light Turnout for ALIPAC's Tea Bagger's against Amnesty parties

Word is coming in from around the nation about the turnout for ALIPAC’s Tea Baggers against Amnesty, and it appears that Willy Gheen will fall far short of his goal of 5000 participants. AUSTIN TEXAS Immigration Clearinghouse had a man on the street in Austin Texas to observe the Austin Tea Party Against Amnesty, held on Congress street by the capitol. Here is the report and photos he sent to us. I was in downtown at 2pm, and I found a big group of about 300 people in front of the Congress, the people of the video… but that was for the health care reform, so I started walking around until I found them.. the ones of the photo, they MORE

Observing Gheen's ALIPAC tea baggers in Snead Alabama.

The voice of reason and the forces of truth and righteousness descended on the small Town of Snead Alabama, this afternoon to take a look at one of ALIPAC’s Tea Parties Against Amnesty. Yours truly was in to observe the promised Tea Party Against Amnesty. We arrived at about 1640 in Snead, a small All American community about 40 west of Gadsden. We looked for and found the location of the protest, the Jet Pep fuel stop and convenience store, right where we knew it would be. What we didn’t see were any protesters. Almost an hour into their scheduled time of 1600-1800. The event organizer, James Snyder had this to say in promoting the event. We plan to have MORE
