Vice Chairman of Young Republican’s in bed with racist Minuteman “Director”

Already in denial of the event, Audra Shay cannot deny the evidence, even though she was quick to delete her account on Facebook
Here, I’ll let my friend and colleague Dee, tell it from her perspective!
The Republicans have done it again! Audra Shay, vice chairman of the Young Republicans, the leading candidate to be elected its chairman and endorsed by Bobby Jindal, responded to a Facebook friend Eric Pike (a Minuteman Director*) by laughing and encouraging him. Pike called President Obama, Washington and others “mad coons and illeegals.” Shay responded “You Tell Em Eric! LOL!” Then Pike, who said he was a good ole southern boy, complained about his lack of freedom of speech and said “if yur ass is black don’t let the sun set on it in a southern town.”
Two commenters chastised Pike and Shay for their comments. Shay responded by removing them as friends. Then, as the blogosphere took hold of the story, Shay attempted to back away from the comments. More than 36 hours after the comments were first posted, Shay released a statement condemning their “disgusting” content, which she said she was “not aware of” when she posted her response. She also deleted her facebook page/comments, however, not before some viewers obtained screenshots.
Wow! Deja Vue! Taken right out of the playbook of ALIPAC (deleting and banning those who don’t agree with them on their website), claiming not to be “aware” of what she was replying to. (Minutemen), and deleting her FB page (Minutemen and other extremists scrubbing their sites of any sign of Shawna Forde and their involvement and encouragement of them)
But read the rest of the story on Immigration talk with a Mexican American. The writer there is usually dead on in her assessment of events and it’s a pleasant place to immerse yourself in.
